Number of Positions: 1 Only for candidates from outside the US Duration: 4 months Location: Onsite in Murray Hill, NJ EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS Currently a candidate for a PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field with an accredited school. Perform optical simulations and modal analyses, including wave propagation, resonator design, AWGs, and laser cavity modeling. Conduct RF circuit simulations and characterize high-speed components using S-parameters and driver modeling. Develop lab automation tools using Python, AI frameworks, FPGAs, Red Pitayas, Arduinos, and automated wafer-probing systems. Carry out hands-on experimentation in optical labs, including optical alignment, device characterization, and testing of high-speed communication hardware.…
