Senior Static Stress Engineer EMPLOYER: Airbus Americas, Inc. LOCATION: Wichita, KS DUTIES: Support the airline in-service fleet on repairs of aircraft structure. Create high quality integrated and certified engineering repair solutions for the airlines and internal customers. Ensure that the final repair solution brings the aircraft back into an airworthy condition. Perform complex stress/strength analyses to assess the structural integrity requirements have been met using standard hand and computer methods. Collaborate with Design, Fatigue and other appropriate Airbus departments to develop optimum design solutions for the airline customer. Manage workflow for self and teammates. Guide the successful completion of projects and execute activities to achieve customer requirements.…
