POSITION SUMMARY The Mechanical Engineer will contribute to Service’s support, upgrade design projects, component obsolescence, and handle small-scale designs with guidance. Participate in New Product Development Service Readiness and perform Change Originator/Analyst duties. RESPONSIBILITIES Support the launch of Project Dominion via part setup in ERP. Support with the design of Service Upgrade kits and component substitutes. Create drawings for upgrade kits. Including installation and packaging instructions. Create bill of materials (BOM) required for new upgrade kits. Perform component obsolescence studies to identify alternate components and provide direction to cross-functional teams. Create or revise product documentation in CAD, Solid Edge, Agile EC, and Oracle PLM systems.…
