Battery Management Systems Hardware Engineer - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned worksite. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the worksite. Define and manage requirements and system-level design for BMS used in Ford’s next generation electrified vehicles. Lead and participate in design reviews and worst-case circuit analyses to validate system robustness. Perform circuit level design and schematic capture for BMS electronics, including component selection and tolerance analysis. Develop and run circuit and system simulations (SPICE, transient, worst case, and system level models) to validate functionality and margin.…
