The Power Electronics Product Design Lead Engineer will be responsible for leading the architecture, assembly design, mechanical systems engineering, and validation of drive unit inverters from concept through production. What you'll do... Drive next-gen power electronics mechanical architecture development including component sizing & selection, mechanical layout, and trade studies. Own top-level assemblies including GD&T and change management. Lead mechanical systems engineering activities including FMEA, requirements definition, and DV test case generation. Work closely with in-house manufacturing teams to review and validate manufacturing controls plans and PV test campaigns. Create and execute system and component test / validation plans.…
