As Director of Engineering, you will own the technical strategy, design, delivery, and operation of Roblox's storage systems. The challenge is scale, efficiency, reliability, and innovation all at once. We are mostly on-prem but also in the cloud — yes, we're actually building a lot of this ourselves, and yes, we know how hard that is. We've got the scale and the talent to do it. You've spent your career deep in storage: databases, caches, queues, object storage. You understand that reliability is the most important feature of any system.
