Senior Application Mechanical Engineer / Designer

About this job

Every customer deployment needs mechanical design work related to workcell layouts, custom fixtures and jigs and possibly additional safety guarding along with integration of off-the-shelf hardware components like barcode scanners and sensors. This role will be a hands-on Applications Mechanical Engineer/Designer who can take a customer use case concept and turn it into a physical reality captured in CAD with a detailed BOM and documentation. This person will help deploy the design in our test cells and possibly in a customer facility if needed. This is a “do” role. The person will design cell layouts, integrate an off-the-shelf scanner, and help the team troubleshoot fixtures as needed. The range matters more than depth in any single specialty.…
