We are seeking a mechanical engineer to join the New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineering team. This role is part of a cross-functional team and will be responsible for leading the development of new manufacturing processes from initial conceptualization through low-rate initial production. It requires that the team member develop an intimate understanding of the aircraft system requirements to effectively develop and implement materials and/or processes that solve for the goals of the business. The ideal candidate is someone with deep experience in one or more manufacturing technologies, including, but not limited to, filament winding, automated fiber placement, resin transfer molding, compression molding, injection molding, resin casting, metal additive manufacturing, forging, metal…
