Vast is looking for a Power Electronics Engineer, reporting to the Manager, Power Electronics, to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations. This will be a full-time, exempt position located in our Long Beach location. Responsibilities: End-to-end ownership of power electronics specification, architecture, simulation, schematic capture, PCB design, mechanical packaging design, board-level bring-up and validation, environmental qualification, and integrated system-level validation. Design circuits to implement functions such as power conversion, load switching, hot-swapping, power conditioning, inrush control, over-current fault detection, and more.…
