The Sr. Product Development Engineer works as a member of the Furnace Engineering Team to develop new indoor gas furnaces. The specific responsibilities will include design of furnace systems and key subsystems. CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to): • Participation as an active member of the product development team. • Gas furnace and/or subsystem development. • Work with design engineers to develop accurate models for analysis using Pro/ENGINEER. • Scoping and reviewing CFD and FEA analysis. • Material and component specification. • Coordination and scheduling of prototype builds and evaluation. • Development, validation, reliability and field testing. • Agency compliance testing and listings (UL, CSA, ETL). • Engineering data/unit attribute creation.…
