Passive Safety Systems Integration Engineer - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Palo Alto, California). Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned worksite. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the worksite. Support the integration efforts for various electrical passive safety components, such as the restraints control module, pressure sensors, OCS, etc. Design passive safety HIL environments and conduct validation tests to prove sub-system readiness prior to vehicle launch. Develop the passive safety related Software vehicle features and work with the hardware, software, architecture, safety and other cross-functional teams to deliver said features.…
