NPD Engineering Manager

This Engineering Manager will lead the new product development team for Trane Modular Chillers in Newberry, South Carolina with team members from North Carolina, South Carolina and Wisconsin. You will leverage global resources to design the next generation of modular cooling and heating products. What You Will Do: Prioritize the needs of internal and external customer requests and deploy engineering resources accordingly to execute New Product Development, Productivity, and Quality and Reliability projects. Provide guidance and leadership to product engineers and support staff including designers, lab technicians and other team members. Ensure design integrity of engineering and design work. Define skill requirements of direct reports and lead recruitment efforts to bring them to the team.…
