Responsible for ensuring all welding on both new and existing programs is compliant with customer weld specifications as noted on customer prints and / or Target agreements and is required to alert leadership of all non-conformances. Follow and enforce all plant safety rules and policies. Understand and promote Magna’s philosophies (Magna Operational Principles, Corporate Constitution and Employee’s Charter). Communicate and make presentations related to welding in front of the customer Assume full ownership for all welding processes including, but not limited to: Quality concerns driven to successful resolution in a timely manner Lessons learned are cascaded across all similar processes Process optimization to drive continuous improvement Upkeep of weld documentation data base and weld…
