About this job
Assists with all activities of the warehouse, including shipping & receiving products and insuring compliance with the safety, quality, and housekeeping standards of the Sealy facility. This position requires both data entry and physical material handling responsibilities. Work is performed under the general direction of the Plant Manager. Analyze materials required against inbound shipments; communicate shortfalls to supervisor. Perform day-to-day activities of shipping and receiving to achieve On-Time-Shipping goals. Organize tasks for optimum efficiency; assist in solving problems. Prepare and maintain records, reports and files including daily shipping/receiving logs, labor summaries, cycle counts, etc.…
