The Air Logistics Operational Care Team Leader will lead the dispatch process offering assistance/guidance to dispatch staff as needed. Correct and/or alert potential or real problems to management. And will assist the Dispatch Manager with all tasks. How you create impact • Lead the dispatch employees • Help handle all related dispatch activities as needed, i.e. training, problem jobs, etc. • Cover the driver / IC payroll as needed • Dispatch all jobs to drivers quickly and accurately • At the point of pick up, either at the shipper or the line haul • The dispatcher and the driver must cross reference the alert information on the Quick mobile app • Properly manage and coordinate driver availability as work dictates • Work closely with drivers (this includes assigning new jobs, obtaining…
