This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for 30 On-call, Part-Time Field Archaeologists based our of our Kansas City, MO, office and open to any location in the Midwest. This role is for a long-term Phase III archaeological data recovery project at four multi-component Pre-Contact archaeological sites in northwest Arkansas. The sites are located in close proximity to each other and contain components dating from the Late Archaic through the Late Pre-Contact periods. It is probable that the sites contain the remains of the early use of plants of the Eastern Agricultural Complex, and experience on Pre-Contact sites, and with the identification and excavation of Pre-Contact features, is particularly desirable. Fieldwork is currently ongoing and will run through mid to late 2027.…
