Warehouse Operator

About this job

Receive/unload and prepare/load liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars. This work is physical and requires attention to detail as follows: Maneuver and connect/disconnect transfer hoses Climb up tanks, tankers and railcars to open/close top hatches and monitor load Inspect tanks, tankers and railcars before and after loading/unloading operations Verify product against receiving/shipping documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and damages Product sampling and quality control in conjunction with lab personnel Maintain accurate receiving/shipping logs. Record amounts of product received or distributed via appropriate computer program Picking and staging product for delivery in accordance with specifications on customer orders or other instructions…
