Position: Staff Data Scientist, Via Transportation, Inc. (New York City, NY) - Telecommuting permitted Duties: Apply advanced quantitative and statistical methods to support business model development and product innovation. Develop and implement Bayesian models and stochastic simulations to generate insights and predictions, including analyses of user behavior and system performance. Manage projects end-to-end, including data extraction, cleaning, and preparation; model development and validation; and deployment of analytical solutions. Design and develop proof-of-concept applications, as needed, to operationalize and demonstrate modeling results. Prepare and deliver regular reports and presentations summarizing methodologies, progress, and key findings to stakeholders.…
