The Staff Accountant ensures compliance with internal controls and dealership policies while working closely with the Controller, department managers, and leadership team on financial accuracy, reporting, and special projects as needed. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for daily posting and reconciliation of cash, check, and credit card deposits; reconciling bank accounts, floorplan, and manufacturer statements; posting and reconciling vehicle deals, commissions, and incentives; and processing and reconciling accounts payable and receivable.
