The Brands & Agencies organization is run as five pods, one per buyer group. Your pod, WPP, Publicis, or Omnicom is led by a VP and staffed with account executives who own the client and planning relationships. You're the technical specialist in that pod: you own the two layers the rest of the team supports but doesn't run, your H oldco's data organization and its trading desk. This is a specialist individual-contributor role, not a junior one. You’ll carry your own curation and audience revenue number, and you will be the most technical person in the room on most calls, including calls where your VP is the senior relationship owner and you are there because the questions have gotten specific.
