Responsibilities Take a new aircraft from concept to series production. You work in a small team with electronics designers and test engineers. You get direct feedback from prototypes, flight tests and production builds. Design and iterate lightweight parts. You design, build and test parts and assemblies, then improve them until they are ready for production. Choose materials and processes with care. You balance performance, volumes, unit cost, tooling investment and lead times. Own DFX. You design for manufacturing, assembly, quality, cost and serviceability, and you settle tolerances, interfaces and process constraints early. Work hand in hand with suppliers. You partner with sourcing on technical feasibility, tooling and part iterations. Own qualification.…
