International School of Karlskrona (ISK) is an authorized IB World School offering both PYP and MYP. The school serves an international student body and all instruction is conducted in English except for Swedish. Teaching is based on the IB's inquiry-driven and concept-based pedagogy, and ISK values collaboration, internationalism, and the holistic development of the student. 1 plats(er). ARBETSUPPGIFTER About the role We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Primary Years Programme Teacher to join our international school community as soon as possible. This is a temporary substitute position running from an immediate start until the end of the current academic year. We are seeking a teacher who is passionate about inquiry-based learning, enjoys working in an international environment, and can confidently step into an established PYP classroom. As a PYP Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, concept-driven learning in line with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). You will work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive, inclusive and internationally minded school community. We offer · A welcoming and supportive international school environment · An established PYP programme and collaborative teaching team · Motivated students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds · Opportunities to contribute to the continued development of our IB programme KVALIFIKATIONER We are looking for someone who: · Is a qualified teacher · Has previous IB PYP teaching experience · Has a strong understanding of inquiry-based and concept-driven learning · Is confident working collaboratively within a PYP team · Can create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment · Has strong communication and relationship-building skills · Is comfortable teaching in an international and multicultural setting · Is available to start immediately Anställningsform: Tidsbegränsad anställning.
