Java Developer – Luleå, Sweden Reference: TV-2026-18746 Location: Luleå, Sweden Working Model: Partly Remote Workload: 100% Assignment Period: 1 November 2026 – 31 October 2029 Contract Type: Consultant / Sub-consultant Application Deadline: 30 September 2026 About the Role We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join an agile development team working on enterprise-scale software solutions. The role involves both backend and frontend development, with a strong focus on Java EE, messaging, system integration, and modern Angular development. The position is based in Luleå with partial remote work. The consultant must be able to work on-site in Luleå at least one day per week. During certain periods, additional on-site presence may be required. The assignment requires security clearance/classification, which must be completed before the assignment can begin. Required Experience The ideal candidate should have: At least 6 years of experience developing with Java EE At least 3 years of experience with JMS API Experience with messaging technologies such as ActiveMQ, IBM MQ or RabbitMQ At least 5 years of frontend development experience with Angular Experience with Angular 20 or later Competency level 4 experience Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English Additional Technical Requirements Experience with the following technologies and areas: CCN-2 / enterprise system integration Git JMS / MQ queues JBoss or WildFly JUnit Cucumber Oracle Database Agile/Scrum development Enterprise application development and integration Candidate Profile We are looking for a hands-on Senior Java Developer with strong enterprise development experience and the ability to work across both backend and frontend technologies. The successful candidate should be comfortable working in an agile team, developing scalable applications, integrating enterprise systems, writing automated tests, and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.
