Your future team Logistics is part of Trucks Technology & Industrial Division (TTI). We are an organization of approximately 650 colleagues, globally connected to deliver world-class logistics solutions. We ensure that transportation is purchased, packaging is made available at our suppliers, material is transported to our production facilities, and vehicles are distributed to our customers on time. We design and optimize the Production Logistics supply chain for the Volvo Group and drive the Sales & Operations Planning process. TTI Logistics Planning and Delivery are responsible for the development of the overall operational production planning and Distribute Product processes, ways of working and related digital tools. Additionally, we carry the responsibility of leading the Sales & Operations planning for the Volvo Group. In all areas of our responsibility, we work closely together with the regional and operational units and with Sales at the Truck Brands and Business Areas to drive improvements, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. Within Planning & Delivery, the Planning & CAQ Team main responsibilities are to develop Production planning processes and digital tools. The team consists of experienced Business and IT experts working close together and in strong collaboration with stakeholders. What you will do In the global Department of Logistics Planning & Delivery, you will contribute to transforming our company, the transport industry, and society. Your responsibilities include: Acting as an expert in order management, slotting, and sequencing processes for both standard and customer-adapted truck orders. Collaborating with stakeholders to identify process development requirements and translate them into information system concepts. Participating in teamwork and networks to develop concepts impacting multiple processes and solutions. Applying your experience in IT and business projects. Who are you? We seek a professional who can work in a global context with deep knowledge of the processes and solutions involved. You should have strong analytical skills and experience with IT solutions in daily operations. As a results-oriented team player, you can prioritize and see the full picture. You will need to actively cooperate with various stakeholders and navigate a multicultural environment. An innovative and creative mindset is essential to inspire and challenge stakeholders at all levels. You should also have a strong quality focus and a personal drive to achieve objectives and targets, understanding how they contribute to the Volvo Group, Logistics, and its strategies. To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualities: Very good knowledge in SAP S/4HANA Production and Supply Chain processes. 5+ years’ experience of design and test of SAP solutions, preferably as part of a global program. Experience in integrating SAP with surrounding order and planning systems. Excellent business understanding and a holistic mindset. Strong collaborative and analytical skills. Proven track record of delivering results independently. Effective communication skills and the ability to drive cross-functional networks, projects, and tasks. Knowledge of automotive manufacturing, production planning, supply, and logistics processes. Interest in new digital solutions and technologies. Extensive experience in order management and ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA) and challenges to integrate with other Processes and IT systems. What’s in it for you?
