About the role Our client is a well-established, technology-driven organization where deep engineering is at the heart of what they build. From a proprietary search engine to advanced cybersecurity solutions, their products are built to handle massive amounts of data and deliver actionable insights in real time. Their R&D, engineering, and data centers are located in Sweden, headquarters in London, and teams across the US, the company operates on a truly global scale. Together with our client, we are looking for a motivated C#.NET Developer to join their core engine team, currently consisting of four developers. Here, you will work on the systems that power the platform’s high-volume, near-real-time data processing. You will design and develop scalable backend services and APIs, working closely with data ingestion, search, and indexing technologies. Performance, reliability, scalability, and clean architecture are central to the role, and you will have a real opportunity to influence technical decisions as the platform continues to evolve. You will work in an agile and highly collaborative environment alongside experienced engineers. Most importantly, your work will have a direct impact: the systems you build will help security teams around the world detect and act on critical cyber intelligence. Work tasks Design and implement distributed and scalable backend solutions using C#.NET. Manage and process large datasets through efficient data pipelines. Own the performance and health of our databases and data structures. Maintain and evolve the company's proprietary in-house database structures and search engines. Build and optimize robust integrations between diverse systems and data sources. Leverage modern AI tools in your daily workflow as part of the company-wide AI-first mindset. Maintain and optimize existing codebase while actively driving new feature development and modernization initiatives. Move between fast-paced integration work and deeper architectural design as the platform evolves. We are looking for Platform/support mindset, self-directedness, or production ownership A couple years experience and advanced knowledge of C#.NET development. Good knowledge of databases SQL and/or postgres, search engines such as ElasticSearch. Pragmatic approach to AI with an eagerness to adopt AI-assisted development tools. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. It is meritorious if you have experience in Python.
