About the opportunity Join our QC Department in Västerås and contribute to the production of high-quality IVD oligonucleotide products that support molecular diagnostics worldwide. You will become part of a highly skilled and collaborative team of Laboratory Engineers and Laboratory Assistants, where expertise, continuous learning, and teamwork are highly valued. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced analytical technologies, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and support the delivery of products that meet the highest quality and regulatory standards. Your tasks: Perform quality control analysis of oligonucleotide products using Mass Spectrometry (MS), HPLC, and UPLC techniques. Ensure laboratory activities and associated documentation comply with GMP requirements and quality standards. Drive LEAN initiatives and continuous improvement activities within the team to enhance efficiency and quality. Support method development, optimisation, validation, and troubleshooting activities for Mass Spectrometry instrumentation. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve analytical and quality-related challenges. Support the training and onboarding of team members on analytical methods, equipment, and laboratory procedures. Contribute to a safe laboratory environment through adherence to chemical handling and safety regulations. Your profile: Please submit your application in English University degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline. Hands-on experience working with Mass Spectrometry (MS) is mandatory and considered an essential requirement for this position. Proven practical laboratory experience in analytical testing and quality control. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Strong attention to detail with a structured and flexible approach and a commitment to quality standards. Ability to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, verbally and in writing. Nice to have: Knowledge and practical experience with HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) and UPLC (Ultra-Performance Liquid Chromatography). Experience working with Chromatography Data Systems (CDS). Familiarity with analytical method development, validation, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with GMP-regulated environments; experience with LEAN methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
