About the Assignment We are looking for an experienced IT Manager for an exciting consulting assignment with an international, technology-driven organization in Gothenburg. In this role, you will take overall responsibility for the delivery, governance, security, and continuous development of the organization's IT environment. The position combines strategic planning and budgeting with hands-on operational responsibility, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working both strategically and close to the technology. You will act as the primary point of contact between the business and external IT service providers, ensuring that IT solutions are secure, scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with business needs. Core Areas of Ownership • IT Budget & Financial Planning • IT Operations & End-User Support • IT Infrastructure & Networking • Microsoft Azure & Cloud Services • Endpoint Management (Intune, Apple Business Manager) • Hardware & Software Procurement • Lifecycle & Asset Management • Digital Signage Solutions • Teams Rooms & Video Conferencing Systems • Information Security & TISAX Compliance • IT Policies & Governance • Vendor & IT Partner Management • Workplace Technology & Office IT Equipment • Technology Strategy & Roadmap Key Requirements • Experience managing Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, and Azure environments. • Good understanding of network infrastructure, including switching, routing, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networking. • Experience in IT budgeting, procurement, and vendor management. • Knowledge of information security principles and compliance frameworks such as TISAX. • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, network, and cloud environments. • Ability to work both strategically and operationally in a hands-on role. • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. • Experience coordinating external IT service providers and consultants. • Ability to translate business requirements into practical technology solutions. • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken is required. • Swedish language skills are considered a strong advantage. About you You are a proactive and business-oriented IT professional who enjoys taking ownership of the entire IT landscape. You are equally comfortable discussing long-term technology strategy with stakeholders as you are resolving operational challenges. With a hands-on approach and strong communication skills, you build trust across the organization and ensure that technology effectively supports business objectives.
