We are strengthening simulation-driven product development at IKEA of Sweden and are looking for an FEA Engineer to join the Comfort Platform team within Range Area Seating. The purpose of the role is to enable faster development of innovative and robust products by optimizing designs, predicting product performance and validating behaviour while reducing reliance on physical prototypes. Perform implicit and explicit non-linear finite element analyses to predict product and solution behaviour, including large-displacement problems. Apply CAE methods such as topology, topography, shape and parameter optimization to improve product and solution designs.…
