Requirements Analyst – Sundsvall Location: Sundsvall, Sweden Working method: Hybrid / Partial Remote – minimum 3 days per week on-site in Sundsvall Assignment type: Consultant / Sub-consultant Scope: 100% Start: As soon as possible, no later than 12 October 2026 Initial end date: 31 December 2026 Possible extension: Until 31 December 2029 Application deadline: 30 September 2026 About the Assignment We are looking for an experienced Requirements Analyst for a complex public-sector IT environment involving system development, application management and business-critical support systems. The assignment involves working in an agile environment with several parallel development teams, complex dependencies and joint deliveries. The systems are based on event-driven, distributed and service-oriented architecture with microservices, while also including legacy systems. The role combines requirements analysis, backlog management, stakeholder collaboration, technical requirements specification, process development and coaching. Responsibilities Lead requirements analysis and requirements work within development teams. Establish, maintain and refine team backlogs. Break down business needs into detailed, traceable requirements and iterative development flows. Develop detailed functional and technical requirements, including: Function flows Acceptance criteria Backend and frontend requirements Error handling Accessibility requirements Database requirements Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, users and other teams. Lead workshops, story mapping sessions and requirements activities. Prioritize requirements together with relevant stakeholders. Organize, structure, document and communicate requirements in a clear and pedagogical manner. Support process development in Camunda. Mentor and coach colleagues in requirements analysis and agile ways of working. Take on Scrum Master responsibilities when required. Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, methods and collaboration. Work across multiple development teams with dependencies and joint deliveries. Mandatory Requirements The consultant must: Be fluent in Swedish, both written and spoken. Have at least 2 years of experience during the last 5 years in a relevant role within the Swedish public sector. Have extensive experience working in legally and regulatory-controlled environments. Have at least 2 years of experience during the last 5 years developing customer and case/processing systems within public support or equivalent operations. Have at least 2 years of experience during the last 5 years developing financial systems, for example within loans, grants, benefits, banking or finance. Have at least 2 years of experience working with multiple parallel system development teams with dependencies and joint deliveries. Have extensive experience producing technically detailed and precise requirements. Have strong technical understanding of application development and IT systems, preferably through a development background or equivalent experience. Have worked in the relevant field for at least 5 of the last 8 years and have a deep level of expertise. Technical Requirements Experience is required with: Agile requirements analysis and decomposition of business needs into requirements artifacts. Scrum and/or Kanban, with at least 2 years of relevant experience during the last 5 years. Scaled Scrum, SAFe or equivalent, with at least 2 years of relevant experience during the last 5 years. Scrum Master or equivalent responsibilities for at least 2 years. Jira, including extensive experience with agile workflows and collaboration between teams. Jira Service Management. Confluence for documentation and knowledge management. SQL, including database mapping and inventory, with at least 2 years of relevant experience during the last 5 years. Draw.io. Requirements work in environments using: Angular Java Spring Boot OpenShift Camunda RabbitMQ DB2 System development involving regular data thinning/data retention processes. System development involving Java code migrated from CA Gen. Preferred Profile We are looking for a consultant who is: Analytical and structured Driven and solution-oriented Collaborative Strong in stakeholder communication Comfortable leading workshops and discussions Skilled at translating complex business needs into detailed technical requirements Experienced in coaching and supporting colleagues Comfortable working independently and in cross-functional teams Education / Certification Training or certification in requirements engineering, such as IREB, SQEB or equivalent, is required.
