Define the metrics. Build the foundation. Make product decisions at Simployer impossible to make without data. At some point last quarter, someone at Simployer asked how many users actually engage with a feature after the first week. They got an answer. A few weeks later, someone else asked the same question and got a different one. Both were correct. Neither were useful. That's the problem this role fixes. We are an HR-tech company that helps organisations manage their people better. We're building a proper data foundation right now. Clean events. A modelled layer. Analytics that product teams can actually use. Our lead data engineer joined earlier this year. Now we need the person who makes that foundation useful. We're looking for someone who gets energised by questions like: What if every product team agreed on what "active user" actually means? How do you build a weekly data read that people actually show up to and use? What would it look like if product decisions at Simployer were grounded in numbers everyone trusted? As our Senior Product Analyst, you'll own metric definitions, drive product usage analysis, and build the dashboards product teams reach for first. You'll also help shape the modelled data layer alongside our lead data engineer, so it works for people and AI agents alike. Your mission You'll partner with product managers and engineers across every product domain not as someone who runs exports on request, but as the person who asks "what are you trying to decide?" before writing a single query. You'll shape those questions into defined metrics, document them so teams speak the same language, and build dashboards that make a weekly product review worth having. You'll thrive here if.. You have several years of product analytics experience in B2B SaaS and you've actually defined metrics, not just inherited them You're strong in SQL against a warehouse and you understand what the data can and can't tell you You've worked hands-on with a product analytics tool aka. Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar and you know how to work with event data, audit what's tracked, and flag what's missing You're comfortable being the only analyst. High autonomy and high accountability feel like the same thing to you You know how to say "we don't know yet" clearly, and you know what to do next when that's the honest answer You help teams answer their own recurring questions instead of becoming the person they always come to You have hands-on experience with AI coding tools or agentic workflows and you think about what good data looks like from an agent's perspective, not just a person's. What you bring: We're not big on long checklists, and if the mission resonates with you we'd love to hear from you. That said, a few things you'll need to succeed: solid SQL, hands-on experience with a product analytics tool, and a track record in B2B SaaS.
