Arbetsbeskrivning About the Role As a Senior AML Analyst at Froda, you will play a key role at the heart of our AML operations, focusing on complex and high-risk cases across customer and partner portfolios. A central part of the assignment is Partner Due Diligence, where you evaluate, monitor, and quality-assure distribution partners across various products and markets in Europe. You are expected to work with a high degree of independence, bring structure to ambiguity, and set the standard for how Froda manages financial crime risk as the company scales. Your main responsibilities will include: Conducting due diligence, ongoing monitoring, and quality reviews of distribution partners. Serving as the escalation point for complex and high-risk cases, making well-reasoned, risk-based decisions. Running QA controls and sampling across CDD, EDD, ODD, screening, and transaction monitoring. Preparing and compiling SAR/STR reports for reporting to the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU). Continuously improving internal AML processes, control measures, and operational routines based on risk assessments (BWRA) and regulatory changes. Providing subject-matter expertise for transaction monitoring rules, CRR model calibration, screening tools, and the broader AML/CTF and sanctions framework. Ansvarsområden Requirements Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in AML/CTF, financial crime prevention, or compliance within a regulated financial institution or consultancy. Methodology & Regulatory Knowledge: Solid experience with CDD, EDD, and complex risk assessments involving PEP/RCA, UBO structures, and sanctions. Industry Experience: Experience working across European markets. A background in partner or third-party AML risk assessments within BaaS (Banking-as-a-Service), platforms, or embedded finance is highly preferred. Communication: Demonstrated ability to engage credibly with partners, internal stakeholders, and supervisory authorities, and to translate complex risk topics into plain language. Languages: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. Proficiency in a Nordic language, French, Italian, or Spanish is a plus. Terminology: Key industry concepts (such as CDD, EDD, SAR/STR, BWRA, and BaaS) are kept in standard English financial crime terminology.
