On behalf of our client, we are now looking for an engaged Accountant for their modern office in Hyllie! About the role In the role of Accountant, you will play a key part in the finance team. You will work in an international setting with a focus on the Finnish market and the company’s financial flows there. Together with a skilled team, you will ensure high quality in daily accounting, monthly and annual closings, as well as financial reporting. The office is strategically located in Hyllie with excellent commuting options via train and bus, welcoming you to a dynamic and forward-thinking workplace with a strong team spirit. Work tasks Day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable for the Finnish entity Active participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings VAT reporting and statutory reporting to authorities Reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and bank accounts Communication and support with Finnish-speaking business partners and internal stakeholders We are looking for Holds a post-secondary degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Higher Vocational Education or University/College degree) Has at least 2–3 years of experience working independently with accounting and bookkeeping Is fluent in both Finnish and English (written and spoken), as both languages are used daily in the role (Swedish is considered a plus) Has strong system skills and advanced proficiency in Excel (experience with large ERP systems such as SAP is highly advantageous) To succeed in this role, you are: Structured, detail-oriented, and analytical.
