For our office in Madrid, we are currently looking for a Senior R&D Power Electronics Engineer. Main tasks Design and industrialization of AC/DC. DC-DC and DC/AC converters in the range of 1-10MW and 500-1500Vdc. Modelling of Voltage Source and Line Commutated Converters. Specification of components (IGBT, cooling systems, magnetics) DC & AC Harmonics calculation, filter design, power factor compensation. Verification of compliance with specifications and standards Coordination of protections, validation, and testing. Preparation of converter testing documentation. Analysis of customer specifications. Offer preparation and cost calculation. Technical leadership in customer project execution and support to project management department.
