We expect the Database Administrator to: Manage, monitor, and optimise Oracle and Postgres database systems, ensuring high performance, availability, and security, Design and implement Oracle and Postgres database structures based on business requirements, Identify and resolve performance issues, optimise queries, and proactively monitor database performance, Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data protection and disaster recovery capabilities, Implement and maintain database security measures to safeguard sensitive data, Investigate and resolve database-related issues, provide technical support to users, and collaborate with developers and other IT staff, Create and maintain comprehensive database documentation, including configurations, processes, and procedur…
