Data platform SRE/Observability Engineer

About this job

Job responsibilities Unified Observability Framework: Develop end-to-end monitoring for all infrastructure stacks, including Trino, Kubernetes, databases, and Big Data (Apache Ozone and Hadoop). CTO Strategic Tasks: Implement automatic collection of DORA metrics and create high-level health dashboards to visualize service uptime. Elimination of Blind Spots: Audit current metrics and address gaps in infrastructure monitoring, particularly in K8s, databases, and distributed storage systems. Proactive Alerting: Optimize and update Alertmanager rules to intercept incidents and anomalies before they impact users or are manually detected. Relief for the Team: Serve as a single point of expertise in monitoring to free team leads from routine dashboard configuration and alerting support tasks.
