As a Postdoctoral Fellow, you will be a member of one of our five research centers: BRIDGE AI-Lab Center of Accounting and Innovation in the Public Sector Centre for Banking and Finance Centre for Real Estate and Environmental Economics NTNU Centre for Sport Management Research More information about the research centers, their focus areas, and ongoing projects can be found on the centers' websites. BRIDGE AI-Lab officially starts in September and does not yet have its own website, but the centre is looking for candidates who integrate Large Language Models (LLM) at scale in their research within economics and finance, e.g. for text analysis or data generation. As a Postdoctoral Fellow you will be given the opportunity to travel to build networks with other researchers in the field and to participate in international research conferences. NTNU Business School offers a supportive and inclusive work environment and is located in modern facilities in the Adolf Øien Building at Campus Elgeseter in Trondheim. Your immediate leader will be the Head of Department. Duties of the position The position allows the postdoctoral fellow to continue their own research activities and explore ideas within the area of the selected research center. You are expected to contribute to international conferences and publish in international peer-reviewed journals. Develop and engage in research proposals. You are expected to help build activity and collaboration within the selected research center. Mentoring students, helping them with their research projects, and advising on methodology and academic writing Required selection criteria Completion of a Norwegian doctoral degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics research, or corresponding foreign doctoral degree recognized as equivalent to a Norwegian doctoral degree is required. If you are in the final phase of your doctorate and can document that the thesis has been submitted or that the defense date has been confirmed, your application can be considered even if you have not defended. NOTE: Documentation of the obtained doctorate must be presented before you can take up the position. If you do not already have educational competence that meets the requirements for a position as associate professor in Norway, NTNU will arrange for you to acquire such competence during the employment period. In such cases, you will also be assigned relevant teaching as part of the career-promoting work. The appointment is to be made in accordance with NTNUs guidelines for recruitment positions for general criteria for the position.
