Wat ga je doen? Binnen Voortman Steel Machinery ga je aan de slag met een technische onderzoeksopdracht voor de FAB iX, onze automatische lasrobot. De kern van deze opdracht is het onderzoeken of het technisch, praktisch en economisch haalbaar is om de huidige centrale drives in de machine te vervangen door decentrale drives, inclusief een onderbouwde vergelijking tussen beide oplossingen. Op dit moment bevindt een groot aantal drives zich gecentraliseerd in de MCC (besturingskast) van de FAB iX. Om vloerruimte te besparen en machines meer modulematig te kunnen bouwen en testen, is de wens om deze drives te verplaatsen naar het veld, in de vorm van decentrale drives. Dit vraagt om inzicht in de technische consequenties, kosten en toepasbaarheid binnen de bestaande machinearchitectuur.…
