Information about the position As a Decision Scientist within the Data Science & Analytics (DSA) function, you will join our dedicated Payments Fraud Management team to safeguard Vinted’s financial ecosystem while maintaining a seamless experience for legitimate users. Reporting to the DSA Manager for Marketplace Payments, you will work in a high-stakes, cross-functional environment alongside Product Manager, Engineering Manager, and Engineers. By analyzing massive datasets and leveraging statistical modeling, you will optimize the balance between real-time ML predictors, hand-crafted business rules, and third-party fraud networks.
