Role purpose: Carry out MIG and TIG welding of mild steel and stainless steel parts used in the manufacture of Fireblock specialist metal doors, frames, screens and associated components. Each job must be completed safely, accurately and within the required production timescale, while meeting Fireblock drawings, specifications and workmanship standards. Key responsibilities • Carry out MIG and TIG welding of mild steel, stainless steel and associated fabricated components. • Produce quality welds in accordance with engineering drawings, weld symbols, job instructions and approved specifications. • Fabricate and weld assemblies used in Fireblock metal door leaves, frames, screens and other specialist products.…
