Position Description The electricity transmission system is undergoing significant transformation driven by Ireland’s decarbonisation targets, the increasing complexity of capital infrastructure delivery, and strengthened regulatory oversight under PR6. Within this evolving context, the Transmission Team plays a central role in supporting ESB Networks’ obligations as Transmission Asset Owner (TAO). The relationship between TAO and EirGrid as Transmission System Operator (TSO) is governed by the Infrastructure Agreement supported by various interface committees and business processes.
