Registered Medical Scientist / Biomedical Scientist role – working within the team environment to ensure the accurate & timely reporting of patient results. Working with the Senior medical scientist & Chief medical scientist to improve laboratory services and participate in EQA/IQA, EQC/IQC. Specific Tasks Use of Laboratory Information Management Systems in place in the laboratory. Be aware and be compliant with of all the documentation related to your Department (Training record, SOP’s, Forms). Assist in the completion of the department’s daily tasks, including work files, to a high standard to ensure patient results are delivered in a timely manner. Analyse specimens in a timely manner. Authorize results, ensuring result accuracy at all times.…
