Registered Senior Medical Scientist / Senior Biomedical Scientist role – in Microbiology will be responsible for Microbiology Laboratory operations in the absence of Chief Medical Scientist reporting directly to the Laboratory Services Director during these periods. Authorising results, ensuring result accuracy at all times. Evaluating results and communicating with your Chief Medical Scientist within the Microbiology Laboratory, Laboratory Operations Director, Consultant Microbiologist and/or requesting clinician any relevant information regarding patient safety. Assisting with the validations and verifications of new or amended methods/kits/equipment when required. Contributing to monitoring, recording and investigations for audits.…
