Reporting to the Mechanical Design Manager, the Mechanical Engineer is responsible for producing accurate and efficient 3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings for electrical switchgear panels and associated components. This role ensures that mechanical designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and aligned with CEL’s internal standards, while supporting collaboration across Electrical Design, Project Management, Production, and external suppliers. What You'll Be Doing: Create and maintain 3D assemblies of electrical switchgear. Design accurate 3D models of machined and sheet metal parts and components. Produce detailed 2D manufacturing drawings, including tolerances, bend details, and material specifications. Interpret electrical schematics to develop mechanical designs.
