We are going through the authorisation process with the Central Bank of Ireland, one of the most reputable banking jurisdictions in Europe, and we are only getting started. Why this role exists Most finance people inherit someone else’s mess: the spreadsheet nobody understands, the close that takes two weeks because that is just how it has always been done. You will inherit none of that. We have built a strong business and a strong team ahead of launch, and the finance function is a blank page waiting for the right person to own it. That person builds the month-end close and the reporting from scratch, the way it should be done, and then automates it so it scales as fast as we do.…
