Die Geschäftsabläufe in Unternehmen werden zunehmend komplexer und müssen sich an stetig veränderte Bedingungen anpassen können. Diese Komplexität findet sich auch in Prozessmodellen von Unternehmen wieder und kann zum Teil mithilfe von Digitalen Zwillingen der Unternehmensorganisation (DTO) abgebildet werden. Zur Modellierung eines solchen DTOs eignen sich grundsätzlich verschiedene Notationen, die häufig auf Petri-Netzen, EPKs oder BPMN 2.0 basieren. All diese Notationen bieten Konzepte zur Modularisierung 1. Basierend auf einer Eye-Tracking Studie, die in Kooperation mit der Universität St. Gallen durchgeführt wurde, wurde in einer vorhergehenden Arbeit insbesondere die Verständlichkeit solcher Modelle, die auf BPMN 2.0 mit Artefakten basieren, untersucht.…
