Product Qualification Engineer

About this job

As a Product Qualification Engineer, you will execute and coordinate the qualification testing activities for Emerson's industrial control and computing products. You will play a central role in defining and fulfilling the qualification requirements for new products (stress, thermal, mechanical, electrical, safety and environmental). You will be required to negotiate with product management, engineering, stakeholders and external laboratories on the best strategy, while minimizing cost and accelerating the development timeline. You will need to act as the central point of contact between the internal Emerson teams and accredited laboratories, certification agencies, and regulatory bodies or any other stakeholders relevant to product compliance and certification.…
