About this job

As Waymo’s first Field Safety Engineer in Germany, you will serve as Waymo’s primary engineering/technical liaison with safety regulators in Germany, working closely with Waymo’s Policy, Legal, and other teams in Germany. You will also work with Waymo’s Field Safety team in the United States to identify and analyze issues that could impact the safety of Waymo’s fleet of autonomous vehicles, with a focus on issues specific to Waymo’s operations in Germany. This role is based in Munich, reporting to Waymo’s Head of Field Safety, Europe based in California.
