The Systems Programmer is responsible for developing and maintaining the game’s core simulation, planning, and supporting gameplay systems. They work closely with the Director of Engineering and game design to translate combat, narrative, progression, and systemic RPG requirements into reliable, maintainable technical solutions. The servicer has primary ownership of the combat simulator/planner and related systems, and supports the integration of narrative, content-authoring, and other external or in-house tools where required. With a strong general engineering focus, they help ensure that complex game systems remain modular, testable, deterministic, and easy to iterate on throughout development.…
