Job ads on NewLuxJob's board for Poland list required skills for each role, and looking at what employers actually write into those postings, skill by skill, shows a clear pattern across sectors.

Office, finance and IT roles

Based on 701 accountant/auditor postings, Tax comes up in 63%, Excel in 44%, VAT in 42%, SAP in 10%, Reporting in 8% and Auditing in 6%. Finance postings (302 ads) list Excel most often, at 66%, followed by SAP at 26%, Controlling at 15%, Power BI at 13%, Forecasting at 11% and Budgeting at 10%. Electrician postings (265 ads) ask for Maintenance in 74%, Wiring in 20%, PLC in 13% and KNX in 1%. What this means if you're applying in Poland

Across these categories, one or two skills dominate each job ad while the rest appear less often. For accountants, Tax and Excel cover the majority of listings.
