Trading operator Maersk Energy Markets acts as the sourcing arm for Maersk in terms of supply, storage, purchase and delivery of fuel and energy. With fuel being one of Maersk´s main operating costs, Energy Markets focuses on optimizing it along various channels, including blending, tolling, cargoes and barging. We are a mixture of talented, passionate professionals, traders and industry experts. Maersk Energy Markets consists of around 70 employees located in a handful of offices around the world - from New York, Singapore, Geneva to Copenhagen. The department is part of Maersk’s Energy Transition organization working to reach Maersk´s net-zero target by 2040.
